Vacoas: A Dedicated Lane to Ease Traffic on Père-Laval Avenue

On Wednesday, December 3rd, the reconfiguration of Père-Laval Avenue in Vacoas, a project estimated at Rs 10 million, was launched. The aim is to alleviate congestion at this busy intersection during peak hours by creating a lane exclusively for left turns from St Paul Road to Stevenson Road, heading towards Phoenix.

On site, the Minister of Public Infrastructure, Ajay Gunness, introduced the new arrangements, located right in front of the SMF Museum and the Gymkhana.
