In presenting the Law Practitioners (Disciplinary Proceedings) Bill, Attorney General Gavin Glover stated that this reform aims to strengthen citizens' trust in the legal profession and the administration of justice. "The bill acknowledges this trust. It seeks to protect the vast majority of practitioners who act honorably while firmly and transparently addressing the minority whose conduct undermines this trust."
