Huawei Launches Nova 14 Series in Mauritius
Huawei introduced its nova 14 series in Mauritius on December 4, 2025, featuring two models: the nova 14 and the nova 14 Pro. Targeted at a creative generation, the series emphasizes modern design, advanced photography, and a smoother intelligent experience. The smartphones will be available starting December 5 at authorized retailers, accompanied by attractive launch offers.
The official presentation of the nova 14 series took place at Huawei’s headquarters in Ébène. The company unveiled the two models comprising this new generation: the nova 14 and the nova 14 Pro. This launch focuses on a youthful design, refined photography, and intelligent features tailored for a connected and creative generation. Both smartphones will be available in Mauritius from December 5 at authorized retailers.
The nova 14 will retail for Rs 20,999, with a complimentary Scale 3 EST. The nova 14 Pro is priced at Rs 28,999, including a Watch GT 4 as part of the launch offer. The nova 14 series adopts the visually distinctive Star Orbit Ring design. The nova 14 Pro features a flawless 6.78-inch Quad-curved display with curved edges for better handling, while the nova 14 sports a flat 6.7-inch OLED screen for a minimalist style. Both models come in blue and black, designed to reflect each user’s personality. The nova 14 series incorporates an Ultra Chroma Camera system capable of capturing multispectral light information for accurate color reproduction.
The camera module includes a 50 MP RYYB main sensor with variable aperture (F1.4–F4.0), a 12 MP portrait telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom, and an ultra-wide/macro lens allowing for 112° shots or 2 cm close-ups. With the Ultra Speed Snapshot feature available on both front and rear cameras, users can capture moving scenes with greater clarity. The front features a 50 MP Ultra Portrait camera, paired with the X D Portrait Engine 3.0, allowing customization of contours, textures, lighting, and background blur in various visual styles.
The series is also designed to meet daily usage needs. It includes a 5,500 mAh battery compatible with Huawei SuperCharge Turbo 100W for quick charging. The devices run on the latest EMUI versions: EMUI 15 for the nova 14 Pro and EMUI 14.2 for the nova 14, providing a smooth and customizable experience.
The new Smart Controls Button allows quick access to applications with a double tap. The nova 14 Pro further enhances user experience with several AI-powered features: AI Gesture Control for scrolling through content with gestures, AI Messaging for enhanced notification privacy, and interactive AI-based themes like Emoji Crush or Air Hoops. The series also has an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, ensuring worry-free daily use.
