Free Internet for SRM Families: Complete Rollout by March

In response to a question from MP Kaviraj Rookny regarding the initiative to provide free internet to families listed in the Social Register of Mauritius (SRM), the Minister of Social Integration, Ashok Subron, presented the project's progress on Tuesday. The initiative, costing Rs 85 million per year for three years under the National Resilience Fund, is set to launch before the end of the year, with a complete rollout expected by March 2026. A total of 7,468 households in Mauritius and Rodrigues will benefit from this initiative.
