Port-Louis: Assaulted in Broad Daylight by a Former Police Officer

On Monday, December 1st, at around 8:20 AM, a 22-year-old bank employee was the victim of an assault in Port-Louis. While walking peacefully along a street in the capital, she noticed a man who appeared to be following her and making unusual noises to grab her attention.

A few meters later, the victim felt a violent blow to her back. Shocked and outraged, she confronted the assailant, demanding to know the reason for his unacceptable behavior.
