Floods in Indonesia: Death Toll Exceeds 900

More than 900 people have died in the devastating floods and landslides that struck the Indonesian island of Sumatra, according to an updated toll released on Saturday by the national disaster management agency.

The latest figures indicate that 908 people have lost their lives, with 410 others still reported missing following a series of tropical storms and monsoon rains that have hit this part of Asia.
