India: At Least 25 Dead in Nightclub Fire in Goa

At least 25 people, including tourists, have died in a fire at a popular nightclub in the famous resort town of Goa, in western India, authorities from this former Portuguese colony announced early Sunday morning. The fire broke out late Saturday night, shortly after midnight, in a disco that is part of a hotel in Arpora, located in North Goa district, local police reported at dawn.
