After a Decline in the Third Quarter: Seasonal Increase in Imports Ahead of the Holidays
Imports fell in the third quarter, reaching approximately Rs 75 billion, marking a 12.4% year-on-year decrease, according to Statistics Mauritius. This decline primarily affects manufactured goods, fuels, chemicals, food, machinery and transport equipment, as well as various manufactured articles. Quarter-on-quarter, the drop is 8.5%.
