Judiciary: 31 Practitioners Promoted to Senior Amid Discontent

The Supreme Court held a significant session yesterday that will be remembered in the legal profession. Thirty-one legal practitioners – 12 lawyers promoted to Senior Counsel (SC) and 19 solicitors elevated to Senior Attorney (SA) – were officially recognized with these honorary titles during a solemn ceremony in the Chief Justice’s Court. This event was presided over by Chief Justice Bibi Rehana Mungly-Gulbul, assisted by the Master and Registrar.
