Magnitude 7.5 Earthquake: Japan Assesses Damage After Quake Injures 33

Japan assessed the damage on Tuesday and warned the public about potential aftershocks following a magnitude 7.5 earthquake that struck late at night. This earthquake caused injuries, minor property damage, and a tsunami in coastal communities of the Pacific.

At least 33 people were injured, including one seriously, according to the Fire and Disaster Management Agency. Most of the victims were affected by falling objects.
