Title: Quatre-Bornes: A Motorcyclist Hits a Car and Flees in a Van

On Saturday evening, a driver reported a hit-and-run incident that occurred in Quatre-Bornes just before 8:40 PM at the intersection of Sir Guy Forget Avenue and Belle-Rose Avenue. The incident unfolded as the driver was heading towards Belle-Rose after stopping at a red light.

According to the information provided, once the light turned green, the driver resumed their route normally. At that moment, a black motorcycle coming from Rémy Ollier allegedly collided with the rear left of their vehicle. Due to the force of the impact, the motorcyclist was thrown to the ground.

The driver of the car immediately stopped and saw the motorcyclist on the ground. They exited their vehicle to assist him, asking if he was injured from the impact. However, the biker simply replied, "I’m fine," while getting back up.

As the driver inspected the damage to their car, the motorcyclist said, "I’ll be back" before fleeing. He ran to a van, got inside, and left the scene, leaving the driver shocked. He abandoned his motorcycle behind.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. The driver alerted the Quatre-Bornes police, stating that he had not been hurt and could recognize the motorcyclist. However, his gray sedan sustained several damages from the collision.

The abandoned motorcycle was taken to the police station for evidence collection and analysis. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to track down the rider, who remains unidentified.

The van that picked up the motorcyclist is also being sought.
