Cinema: Star Bagatelle to Close in January

The Star Cinema in Bagatelle will permanently cease operations on January 4, 2026. The announcement was made by management through their social media channels.

No official reason has been provided so far to explain this decision.

The cinema, which has been located within the Bagatelle Mall for several years, expressed that it is "deeply saddened" by this closure while also thanking the public for their support and loyalty.

It is worth noting that the Star Cinema locations at Caudan Waterfront in Port Louis have been closed since Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

The brand continues its operations at Grand Baie La Croisette.
