Hit and Run in Beau-Vallon: 49-Year-Old Security Guard in Intensive Care
A 49-year-old security guard was the victim of a hit and run on Monday evening in Beau-Vallon. He was found unconscious on the road with blood on his head and arms, and was urgently transported to Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital in Rose-Belle, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
According to the police, debris from a headlight was found at the scene of the accident, suggesting that a vehicle may have struck him before fleeing the scene.
A few hours later, a 64-year-old man presented himself at the hospital, claiming that he might have hit something, though he was not certain. A breathalyzer test conducted on him returned negative. He is expected to be questioned by the police on Tuesday to determine his possible involvement in the accident.
