Moustass Leaks: ACP Lilram Deal Arrested by CCID

The ACP Lilram Deal was arrested late afternoon on Tuesday, December 9, by the CCID as part of the investigation into the phone tapping case linked to the Moustass Leaks. After being questioned at the CCID, investigators informed the senior officer – who was already suspended following a previous arrest by the FCC in the Reward Money case – of his arrest.

He is now facing charges for an alleged violation of the Official Secrets Act.

While he was supposed to be placed in a cell that evening, ACP Deal complained about his health condition and was taken to a private clinic in the capital.
