"I am convinced that what I am doing is right," stated Arianne Navarre-Marie this Wednesday, December 10. The Minister of Gender Equality and Family Welfare was responding to a question from our journalist regarding her discussions with Stéphanie Anquetil at the National Assembly the previous day, December 9, concerning the Baie-du-Tombeau Child Day Care Centre. This statement followed her participation in the Digital Safety Campaign in recognition of International Human Rights Day, which took place that afternoon at Voila, Bagatelle.

"I practice an open-door policy. We are here to take all suggestions aimed at improving the situation for children," emphasized Arianne Navarre-Marie. "Since I took office as Minister of Gender Equality and Family Welfare, I have been focused on transforming this ministry. (...) There is still much to be done. We inherited a situation that is ten years old. Therefore, we are working hard to make everything better. I myself am not completely satisfied. I thought we could achieve more. But we are doing what we can with the resources we have," added Arianne Navarre-Marie.
