At the Heart of Information – How to Reduce Risks: Rethinking the Mauritian Response to Drugs

The theme of today's edition of "At the Heart of Information" will be risk reduction related to drug use, hosted by Prem Sewpaul. As the limitations of a strictly punitive approach become increasingly evident—highlighted by ongoing overdoses, social exclusion, and stigmatization—risk reduction emerges as a central and urgent pillar for an effective response.

We will explore why a more humane, coordinated, and public health-oriented strategy is now essential for Mauritius.
