"Dhurandhar": Time Restriction Lifted, Film Can Be Screened Anytime
The Mauritius Film Classification Board (MFCB) has revisited its decision regarding the Bollywood thriller Dhurandhar. While the film retains its 18+ (Restricted) rating, it can now be screened at any time of the day.
During its meeting held this morning, the MFCB lifted the restriction that limited the film's screenings to sessions scheduled after 6 PM. This decision follows a careful review of the matter by the Minister of Arts and Culture, Mahen Gondeea.
However, the film remains classified as 18+. Therefore, a valid form of identification (ID card or passport) is strictly required for anyone wishing to attend a screening. Age verification will continue to be enforced to ensure compliance with the classification.
