Horse Racing: Ianish Taka: "I was afraid I couldn't control it"

Apprentice jockey Ianish Taka considers himself fortunate to have come out unscathed from the investigation conducted by the race stewards regarding his ride on Let’s Play Poker, which finished second, just 0.70 lengths behind Free To Win last week.

This ride, heavily scrutinized after the 14th race day, was examined on Thursday, December 11, by the Racing Stewards. Following the hearing, no charges were brought against the apprentice.
