The Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita officially reopened its doors on Thursday, December 11, 2025, after seven months of renovations. Present for the occasion, Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam emphasized the need to closely monitor the evolution of the tourism sector and to adapt regulatory frameworks accordingly during his speech.

He announced the upcoming introduction of digital recognition at border points, along with a digital visa, both measures aimed at modernizing visitor reception and streamlining procedures.

The Prime Minister also reminded that Mauritius's competitiveness relies on a clear, efficient, and protective framework. According to him, innovation must be accompanied by rigorous and transparent governance.
