Death of Dialysis Patients During the Pandemic: Justice Obtains Medical Files to Establish Accountability
The judicial inquiry into the deaths of 11 dialysis patients during the Covid-19 pandemic resumed on Wednesday, December 10, at the Curepipe court. What was supposed to be a morning hearing scheduled for 9 AM did not actually begin until over three hours of waiting. The main focus of the day's discussions: medical records.
A representative from the records department of the Ministry of Health was summoned to submit all relevant medical files to the court.
