School Calendar 2026: Classes Resuming on January 13

The Ministry of Education and Human Resources has released the school calendar for the year 2026. The first term will start on Monday, January 12, welcoming Grade 1 students into primary schools, Grade 7 students into regional colleges, and Grade 10 students into academies.

Classes for all students will resume on Tuesday, January 13. This first term will continue until April 3, 2026.

The second term will open on April 20 and conclude on July 17. The third term will run from August 17 to October 30, 2026.

This calendar applies to all primary and secondary schools across the country.
