2026 Salary Compensation: Rs 635 per month for Employees Earning up to Rs 50,000

Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam made the long-awaited announcement to the National Assembly regarding salary compensation for the year 2026. He reminded that during the meeting of the Tripartite Technical Committee held on November 26, 2025, chaired by the Minister of Labour and Industrial Relations, Statistics Mauritius indicated that the inflation rate for 2025 is estimated at 3.7%.

Another meeting of the Tripartite Committee on salary compensation is expected to follow.
