Chikungunya: A New Case Confirmed in Roches-Brunes

A new case of chikungunya has been confirmed following tests conducted at the Candos laboratory, reported Dr. Fazil Khodabaccus.

The patient is a 68-year-old woman residing in the Roches-Brunes area. The positive result was obtained recently. The patient is currently hospitalized at Victoria Hospital in Candos, where she is receiving appropriate care and is placed under a mosquito net, in accordance with health protocols.
