Australia: The Prime Minister Honors the 'Heroes' Who Responded During the Sydney Attack
On Sunday, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese paid tribute to the 'heroes' who intervened to help stop the attack that occurred on Bondi Beach in Sydney during the Jewish festival of Hanukkah, condemning the act as one that 'defies comprehension.'
"Today, we witnessed Australians running towards danger to help others. These Australians are heroes, and their bravery has saved lives," Mr. Albanese stated at a press conference, as videos shared on social media showed bystanders attempting to subdue the assailants.
