Pointe-aux-Sables: Discovery of a Body at Sea

Last Sunday, around 5 PM, the lifeless body of a man was discovered floating in the sea behind the Mauritius Maritime Training Academy. The victim, Louis Hans Jonathan Seerungen, 45 years old and a resident of La Tour Koenig, was wearing a black swimsuit and fins. The body was found in shallow water, 50 meters from the shore, and was retrieved by the National Coast Guard before being transferred to the SSRN hospital morgue for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
