This afternoon, a wreath-laying ceremony was held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam's (SSR) death at the SSR samadhi in the botanical garden of Pamplemousses. Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam was present, accompanied by ministers, junior ministers, members of parliament, and citizens who gathered to honor SSR's memory.
