Bollywood Concert - Euphony: The Phenomenon from India's Got Talent Arrives in Mauritius
For the very first time in the Indian Ocean, the Indian music group Euphony, known from popular talent shows, will perform in Mauritius. This unique concert, organized by Eminence Events, will take place at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre (SVICC) on Saturday, December 20th at 7:00 PM. This event marks the arrival of one of the most prominent groups in contemporary Indian music on the island.
Euphony is famous for its bold fusion of Bollywood rhythms, classical Indian music, and modern sounds. The group gained recognition in India through its acclaimed performances on shows like Dil Hai Hindustani on Star Plus, especially reaching the Top 11 in Season 9 of India's Got Talent.
Their distinctive musical style combines powerful vocals, beatboxing, electric guitar, and percussion, creating a sound experience that celebrates both the authenticity of Indian traditions and modernity. The group's viral videos on YouTube and their energetic stage presence have helped them build a large fan base among the youth.
"We are thrilled to bring to Mauritius a group that perfectly embodies the new wave of contemporary Indian music," says Krisley Appadoo, director of Eminence Events. He adds, "Euphony represents this generation of artists who respect traditions while pushing musical boundaries. Their energy and talent promise an unforgettable evening for the Mauritian audience."
The local group Ebanez will open the concert, which starts at 7:00 PM, thus providing a platform for Mauritian artists to share the stage with international stars. The SVICC is ready to accommodate up to 4,000 spectators for this evening. The event primarily targets young adults and professionals (ages 18 to 40) who enjoy live music and Bollywood culture. Catering services will be available on-site.
Tickets are on sale starting at Rs 600 on the Otayo platform.
