Arrested for Cannabis Cultivation: "This weed will be sold for a better life..."

An operation by the Eastern Crime Intelligence Unit (DCIU) led to the arrest of a 42-year-old resident of Mont-Ida on Friday, December 12, for cultivating and possessing cannabis for trafficking purposes. Acting on credible information and following an intelligence operation, the DCIU Eastern officers, under the supervision of an assistant police superintendent, proceeded to the suspect's home armed with a search warrant.
