Phone Tapping: Lilram Deal Posts Bail and Leaves Detention

Suspended Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Lilram Deal appeared at the Port-Louis court on Monday to complete the formalities for his bail release. He is provisionally charged under the Official Secrets Act in connection with the phone tapping investigation revealed by Missie Moustass. He was able to meet the conditions set by the court. During his previous appearance last Friday, the court had granted him provisional release with bail conditions.
