Director of Public Prosecutions Office: Two Out of Five Charges Against Raquel Jolicoeur Dropped
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has decided to drop two out of the five provisional charges against Raquel Jolicoeur, the singer of the group Armada 666. This announcement was made on Monday, December 15, by Magistrate Chrisinta Chavrimootoo, sitting in the Port-Louis District Court. The dropped charges relate to a threat to commit a terrorist act under the Prevention of Terrorism Act and an offense under the Information and Communication Technologies Act.
