Regional Workshop of the IOC: An Ocean of Solutions to Reduce Plastic Pollution

The Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), in partnership with the Nairobi Convention Secretariat, launched a three-day regional workshop yesterday in Bagatelle aimed at developing a common strategy to reduce plastic pollution in the region. The event brings together national focal points from the ten countries that are parties to the Nairobi Convention, representatives from the Indian Ocean Plastic Expedition (ExPLOI) project, and other stakeholders.
