Torrential Rains: A National Protocol for the Public and Private Sectors is Being Finalized

A national protocol for the public and private sectors during torrential rain is currently being finalized. This will allow employees to return home without needing their employer's approval when weather conditions demand it.

The document will soon be presented to the Council of Ministers, and then reviewed by the State Law Office for potential legal enforcement.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Labour, Reza Uteem, on Wednesday, December 17, during a workshop on decent work organized at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Public Service and Innovation in Ébène.
