Rose-Hill: Two Tobacco Shops Destroyed by Fire, One Owner Shares His Experience
In Rose-Hill, two wooden tobacco shops with metal roofs were devastated by a fire on the evening of Wednesday, December 17th.
The blaze broke out around 9 PM. The firefighters from Quatre-Bornes swiftly responded and managed to control the fire just before midnight.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. However, the material damages are significant, as both businesses were completely destroyed by the flames.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage of the investigation. Shahad Choychoo, one of the shop owners, stated that he lost everything in the fire and noted that both his business and the building were not insured.
