Mare-Chicose: Truckers Strike Over Unpaid Wages Since February

A truckers' strike is currently taking place in Mare-Chicose this Thursday, December 18. Transporters are protesting against the non-payment of their fees by the company Sotravic since February 2025. According to the affected truckers, no wages have been paid for the services provided in recent months, a situation they deem unsustainable.

The movement affects more than twenty owners of 40-foot trucks, representing a fleet of about sixty vehicles.
