Complaining of Discomfort: 22-Year-Old Prisoner Escapes from Dr. A. G. Jeetoo Hospital Restroom

A 22-year-old prisoner escaped while at Dr. A. G. Jeetoo Hospital for medical treatment. The incident occurred on the night of Wednesday, December 17. The young man was transferred from the Moka Detention Centre after complaining of discomfort.

While being accompanied by police in the emergency department, he took advantage of a moment of inattention to flee from the hospital restroom. The prisoner is actively being pursued.
