According to forecasts from the Vacoas weather station, cloudy periods accompanied by showers are expected at times in Mauritius, primarily in the eastern half of the island and in higher areas. The sea will be rough offshore, with swells predicted for Tuesday, December 23, before gradually improving from Wednesday, December 24, as stated in a release issued on Friday, December 19.

In Rodrigues, the weather will be partly cloudy, with occasional showers on Tuesday, December 23, and Wednesday, December 24. Rainfall will become more frequent on Thursday, December 25, potentially becoming moderate at times, with a risk of isolated thunderstorms.

The sea will also be rough offshore around Rodrigues, before gradually improving from Thursday, December 25.
