Beau-Bassin Prison: Cannabis and Simik Found in a Prisoner's Cell

Even behind bars, drug trafficking seems to flourish. At Beau-Bassin Prison, cannabis and simik were discovered in a prisoner’s cell. Officers from the Anti-Drug & Smuggling Unit conducted a targeted search of the inmate's cell on Saturday, December 20. The operation resulted in the seizure of several packets containing over 30 grams of cannabis and 4.5 grams of synthetic drugs.
