Automobiles: Defective Takata Airbags Affecting Over 2,600 BMWs in Mauritius

The Ministry of Commerce informs the public that the COMESA Competition Commission has issued a warning regarding defects in Takata airbags and starters in certain BMW models. François Gellé, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Aftersales at Leal & Co. Ltd, an authorized BMW dealer, states that "over 100 million vehicles worldwide, across all brands, are affected by the Takata airbag recall, which covers more than 20 automotive brands."
