Content: A formal charge of "Public Official Using Office for Gratification" has been filed against the former director general of the CNT, Rao Ramah, in front of the Financial Crimes Division of the intermediate court this afternoon.

The trial is set to begin on January 20th.

The Financial Crimes Commission accuses him, while he served as the director general of the National Transport Corporation, of failing to take adequate and appropriate measures against DSS Trading Ltd, following a breach of a contract for the supply of tires to the CNT.

This omission allegedly resulted in unclaimed damages amounting to over Rs 1.9 million from DSS Trading Ltd.
