Indonesia: Speeding, overturned bus… A terrible road accident claims 16 lives

Indonesia has once again been struck by tragedy this Monday morning due to a horrific road incident. A bus accident has resulted in at least 16 fatalities and several injuries on a highway in Java.

The public transport vehicle was traveling from the capital Jakarta to Yogyakarta when it approached a curve at a "high speed," subsequently hitting the guardrail and overturning, as reported by Budiono, head of the local search and rescue agency.
