Weather: Possibility of Significant Rainfall at the End of December

Weather forecasts from the Vacoas meteorological station indicate that the country may experience "considerable rainfall" towards the end of December.

The head of the meteorological service, Raj Raj Booneeady, addressed the press this afternoon to mark the hundredth anniversary of the relocation of meteorological services to Vacoas. He urged the public to be cautious regarding the upcoming weather conditions.
