Followed from Goodlands: A Couple of Drug Deliverers Intercepted in Bagatelle

A couple was rubbing their hands in anticipation of delivering their goods and making some money. However, Kelly Donovan Bijoux, a 34-year-old resident of Goodlands, and his partner, who had agreed to carry out a drug delivery, fell into the nets of the Anti-Drug & Smuggling Unit (Adsu) of Rose-Belle.

This squad, led by Sergeants Sauteur and Vydelingum, under the supervision of Chief Inspector Appasamy, had been tracking a Goodlands resident involved in alleged drug trafficking. The police had precise information regarding a drug delivery in Bagatelle on December 5th.

Discreetly, detectives were deployed to the site and during a surveillance operation, the target arrived on a motorcycle. The Adsu surrounded Kelly Donovan Bijoux and his partner. They were subjected to a search, during which 11.4 grams of heroin were seized from the motorcyclist, along with a sum of Rs 7,500. He was arrested on the spot for "Drug Dealing," while his partner was allowed to leave the scene. The motorcycle used by the couple was confiscated by the anti-drug brigade.
