The Letter I Would Write to Santa Claus
At Christmas, children write to Santa Claus from the heart. Their words are simple, sometimes shy, but always sincere. Through their letters, they share their dreams, what they hope to receive, and what they aspire to become.
"Dear Santa Claus,
Christmas is very different for me compared to five years ago. Back then, I mostly saw this holiday as a day to receive gifts.
But today, I view it differently: Christmas is a time of joy, filled with spirituality, sharing, and love.
This year, I would like to ask you for something important: health, joy, and happiness for my family. I also wish for other children to understand what I want to convey: Christmas is not just about gifts.
It’s a day to spend time together, filled with love, happiness, and a heart full of light for everyone."

"Dear Santa Claus,
My name is Thibé and I am 5 years old. For almost two weeks, my brother Salomon, my grandmother Mamoune, and I have been preparing for Christmas.
Every morning, we each open a small gift from the Advent calendar that Mamoune gave us. She explained to us that it’s important to prepare our hearts and that Christmas is not just about gifts.
But since I've been very good… (even though mom often says I’m a real whirlwind), I’m still sharing my list: roller skates "Shadow", a yo-yo, and Transformers that turn into planes.
For this Christmas, my biggest wish is for love and peace everywhere in the world. I wish for people to be kind, happy, and for all children to be well surrounded.
I also hope everyone can learn to protect nature. Often, people leave trash behind, and that’s not good. Could you help us take care of our planet?
Mom told me that the holidays can be difficult for some people. That life is expensive and that there are children who don’t have the chance to celebrate Christmas with family. Could you send them lots of love so they can also have a beautiful Christmas?
I really hope all my wishes come true. Thank you, Santa Claus.

"Dear Santa Claus,
This year, I would really like a remote-controlled car. But above all, I wish for happiness for my whole family during the holidays and for all of 2026.
I also hope that Mauritius becomes even more beautiful. I dream of clean beaches with recycling bins for every type of waste.
It would also be great to have workshops where children could learn to make separate bins for plastic, cans, cardboard, and glass, using recycled materials. This way, we could all help nature while learning.
And for the less fortunate, I have a project that’s dear to my heart: organizing a Christmas meal for poor children or those living in shelters. I hope you will visit them too, Santa Claus, especially during the barbecue night.
I promise to give a Christmas carol performance in beatbox, it’s my specialty. Thank you in advance for everything you do for us."
