Beachless Mauritius: A Dismal Reality

I am writing this article out of deep frustration over our nearly one-year-old government’s ineffective handling of the beach erosion issue. I expected that Hon. Rajesh Bhagwan and Hon. Joanna Bérenger would take more decisive and systematic action than Kavy Ramano. But instead of progress, we are moving at a crawl – not just at a snail’s pace but at the pace of a starfish!
