Christmas Means Magic, Love, Festive Spirit, Children, and Most Importantly... Gifts
Christmas brings with it magic, love, a festive spirit, children, and above all... gifts.
On December 23, 2025, the newly formed association We Love Bel Air, in collaboration with Hon. Chetan Baboolall, organized a Christmas Parade that will be remembered by the residents of Bel Air.
The parade started at 6:30 PM from Chetan Baboolall's residence, a local of Bel Air, winding through the village streets to Pont Lardier, concluding around 10:30 PM.
The enthusiasm was unparalleled. For the first time in Bel Air's history, an event of this magnitude took place. With every step the procession took, love, joy, and camaraderie filled the air, turning the village streets into a haven of happiness.
The Christmas Carrier, specially designed for the occasion, came from the village of Ecroignard and was kindly lent by the I Love Ecroignard association, the creator of this festive vehicle. This same organization had successfully hosted similar parades in Ecroignard the previous two years, bringing their expertise to Bel Air.
The presence of two beauty queens added an extra touch of charm and elegance to the festive event.
Reyna Amboorallee, who made history in 2025 as the first representative of her country to win the title of Miss Tourism Africa International, along with Amanda Bransbury, Miss Planet International Mauritius 2025, graced the parade, making the evening even more memorable.
The most magical moment of the night was undoubtedly when the children received their gifts. Over 1,300 gifts were distributed. According to Deputy Chetan Baboolall, such initiatives bring people together, sharing joy and happiness, and as a member of Parliament, he feels it is his duty to create these moments of unity and togetherness.
