Fatal Assault: An Octogenarian Succumbs After Four Days

Paul Claude Duval, 81, passed away on Friday, December 24, at Victoria Hospital in Candos, where he had been admitted since Saturday, December 20, in critical condition. The octogenarian had been violently assaulted in La Caverne, Vacoas, while on his way to the police station to report, yet again, repeated noise disturbances attributed to neighbors, a situation he and his wife had endured for several years. He was severely injured during this incident.
