Taiwan: A New Earthquake of Magnitude 7 Strikes the Island

Taiwan has experienced its second earthquake this week. A quake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale occurred off the east coast of Taiwan on Saturday, December 27, according to the island's meteorological agency. This latest earthquake is slightly stronger than the one that struck three days ago, which had a magnitude of 6.1. No injuries or damage have been reported immediately following the tremor.
