Cyclone Grant: No Immediate Threat to the Mascarenes

Severe tropical cyclone Grant is currently in the monitoring zone of the Vacoas meteorological services and continues its westward trajectory. As of yesterday at 10 AM, the storm's center was located at 11.9° south latitude and 89.3° east longitude, approximately 3,460 km northeast of Mauritius. Forecasts indicate that Grant will not affect the weather conditions of the Mascarenes over the next three days.
