Fatal Accident in Port-Louis: A Pedestrian Loses Her Life

A tragic road accident occurred on Sunday, December 28, around 9:10 AM at the intersection of La Corderie and Royale streets in Port-Louis. According to initial reports, the accident involved a private van and a 77-year-old pedestrian, a resident of Belvédère. The elderly woman was reportedly struck while she was on the public road.

Emergency services from SAMU, who were quickly dispatched to the scene, unfortunately, could only confirm her death.
