A tragic accident occurred on Saturday, December 27, at approximately 3:05 PM at Rochester Falls in the south of the island.

According to information provided by the police, Gouenael Thierry Chevathian, a 24-year-old, was found severely injured following a fall. Witnesses at the scene reported that the young man slipped while sitting at the edge of the waterfall, losing his balance before plunging down.
